Once they get the lights and cameras on them, a lot of people fall in love with it and have to run their mouth about everything. Bueckers is too smart to get down in the muck with them, she’s playing chess.

Would still like to see after the new contract is finalized . Emma, Stewie , and JJ join Paige for a chance at a couple of Championship runs before they retire.
New York has become a mess, and will be lucky to get past the 1st round.

I don’t think she’s playing chess with her responses. I think she is very genuine, one of her many admirable traits.

Bueckers is handling this league kind of like Gretzky handled the NHL. She's probably already the most CREATIVE scoring/passing guard in the league, especially with the team she has to work with.

Cunningham has become a solid veteran in the W, and I appreciate the fact that she has assumed the role of team enforcer, particularly in regards to CC. But as you indicate, she’s become something of a loose cannon when it comes to the press, which is not going to gain her a lot of fans outside of Indianapolis. Paige is 6 years her junior, and displays far more maturity and poise.

And this, my BY friend, is why we are so appreciative of CD's training with the team on interactions with the media. We are blessed to have a coach that invests the time into the players and teaches them good etiquette. There have been a number of times that "loaded" Qs were tossed at a UConn player, and they handled it well.

Clark is a great player and was obviously the ROY last year. But she got off to a really slow start in the W for her first 10 games or so until it started to click for her. In addition, Clark played on a much better team with IN than Paige is stuck with in Dallas.

Paige played at an extremely high level from her first game and she has absolutely carried the Wings as they’ve gone through more roster and lineup changes than you can keep track of.

Like a lot of casual fans I see that you're very impressed with the PPG stat. Make sure to check out Clark's record setting TO stat along with the shooting percentages. I said creative, not sloppy.

You are correct but ever since Geno said below during the 2024 NCAA tournament many of the CC fan boys/girls took it as a slight to "the anointed one" and have made their disdain for Geno and Paige no secret on social media and refuse to let it go.

Miller better have a great plan to get new players on this team come free agent time. Paige has been reduced to taking almost impossible shots just to get into the action. It seems that every shot she has to create on her own, as the other guards will not pass her the ball, especially the turnover prone Quinnery. They don't set screens, they just jack up shots, pass it among themselves, and miss most of the shots. Maddy and Grace try to get it to her whenever possible, but the rest are consumed with themselves. I'm thinking that the coach may be showing off the rookies, using them for possible trade bait for next year. Doesn't this guy know who his golden goose is, why doesn't he make plays to get her open? Right now, Paige isn't the best shooter on the team, Maddy Seigrist is. Paige doesn't show the stress, but inside she has to be burning up with a little anxiety and being a little p'od over the way this team has played. Before I stop, I have to acknowledge that I can't believe how bad her 3 pt shooting is, must be shooting in the 20's. Okay, I'm done, just have to stay away from those podcasters that say Paige is not the ROY by far, and that she is the worse clutch shooter in the league. LOL, those Fever fans are the worse in the league.

I said before Emma, Stewie, and JJ need to get out of New York and join Paige in Dallas. Having a true team player who is a point guard would help all 3 of them win another championship at this stage of their careers.

I'm sure Emma, Stewie, and JJ would love to leave the great venue they are playing in Brooklyn, and move to the 6K mid-major gym they are playing in now. They were supposed to move to a renovated arena in Dallas next year, but that has been pushed back another year. This is depressing, Paige deserves better. If not for the bad luck of the draft, she could be in L.A. playing for a playoff spot with young great players like Cam and Rickea.

For those 3 it is about winning championships not the arena. All 3 are in their 30's and time to win championships is running out. The team in New York right now isn't very good and will be lucky to get out of the 1st round this year. Cloud isn't the answer as a point guard. And Emma, Stewie, and JJ need to be utilized better in an offense and Paige already is better utilizing her teammates then anyone on the Liberty.
Plus those 3 are still pretty good on defense as a group.
