Yes, I watched her carefully and you could really have some fun with "where's she coming from?" But once she knew who had the #1 pick that was all she needed to know.

In Geno’s interview he talked about all the things Paige has to deal with, including having to live up to being designated as the #1 draft pick, 5 months before the draft. Geno praised Paige for blocking out everything that isn’t important, and being able to focus on what is important. My take is that Paige isn’t concerned about the draft, and won’t be until the season is over.

When UConn was frittering away its big lead vs NC, it didn't really matter how many bodies were available as long as Paige was. Would you rather have anyone on the court than Paige in crunch time? There is no understating her bb greatness; there is no understating her quality as a person. She is truly once in a generation.
I wish we would stop focusing so much on what the next step is for her. This season has just begun, and many good things are here in the moment. Let's enjoy them.

On the rare occasion when CD has to fill in for Geno has HC, her postgame press briefings have always been wonderfully insightful, and as she reminds Geno, she is undefeated as a head coach.
