Agree. They seemed to knock heads and immediately Paige was rubbing her head.I have a feeling that the injury occurred when Paige and Sloot had a bad collision.
Yes. Paige was down for a minute or so getting her bearings. The collision didn’t appear to affect Paige thereafter. But I suspect that she must have had some issues after the game.I have a feeling that the injury occurred when Paige and Sloot had a bad collision.
From what I've heard, Paige was very much there for Caroline. I expect that it will repaid.Best wishes to Paige! Feel free to get in touch with Caroline.
Here's the collision due to blocking foul on Vandersloot. https://x.com/jackmaloneycbs/status/1928576691355406634

It was definitely a hard foul as Paige was about to turn the corner on Vandersloot, who had trouble guarding her all game. I don’t think it was a flagrant foul. But it certainly was an act of desperation by a defender who was about to get beaten off the dribble. Is a head butt considered a flagrant foul?![]()
Some would question that not being a flagrant foul. But the real issue is why was Paige allowed to continue playing? What exactly did she say to the coach and trainer and what did they do in safeguarding the health of their player? The obviously casual, business-as-usual way this was handled is more of a problem than many want to admit. It was definitely a hard foul as Paige was about to turn the corner on Vandersloot, who had trouble guarding her all game. Please note my response to your comment on the “Paige’s Wings page” thread. It was a hard foul, not a flagrant foul. Paige was not unconscious, dizzy or nauseous. She complained of a headache after the game. Out of an abundance of caution, the Wings decided to place her in the concussion protocol. I know we all love Paige, but no one is at fault for anything in this situation. Some would question that not being a flagrant foul. But the real issue is why was Paige allowed to continue playing? Wisewillie, I suspect there wasn't any manifestation of a concussion at the time of the foul (less than a minute left in the second quarter), nor throughout halftime, nor during the rest of the game. Some would question that not being a flagrant foul. ? She practiced with the team today. I understand it’s a game time decision. Where did you see that she’s been ruled out?I have been waiting all day to find out if Paige will be playing Friday night. She WON'T. Crap, I was looking forward to the game with LA, a game the Wings could actually win with her in the line-up. Sort of strange that Paige is having a problem while Caroline is on the road to recovery.

She also took part in team shooting drills.Paige was at the gym for practice and at least rode the bike. But she is expected to be out tomorrow. Hopefully, P. will be back after that.
I just watched a presser with Chris Koclanes from a morning shoot around and he once again indicated that Paige is “day to day.” That tells me that Paige will be a “game time decision” for the LA Sparks game tonight.![]()
