Hopkins after getting a 10 point lead has gone Cold. Paige missed a tough layup ( she made the shot difficult), a three point shot. Also another player missed a break away layup. 60-52 Hopkins 9:40 left in the game.
 
Much different watching the game live vs the Highlights. In the Highlights Hopkins Rarely misses and they look unbeatable. :) Compared to the highlights I've watched, Hopkins looks slow on defense.

Guess Minnesota doesn't have a shot clock in Girls BB. I say that as it looked like Hopkins took a minute off the clock before making a basket.

Hopkins has made a lot of fts. If they were bad ft shooters they would have lost this game.
 
Hopkins 87 Wayzata 77 Paige looks so calm at the free throw line. I believe she had 27 Points tonight with 12 assists.

Hopkins gave up a lot of second chance points. Hopkins is great at the free throw line.

Nice to see Bueckers' first comment was to praise her team mate Contraras. She also said she didn't know Geno was going to be there.

Nnaji and Brady are the same class same position (PF)/Post. Think Geno looks taller (Betts) or someone who can play SF (Barker or Gardiner).
 
IF Whalen can get a couple of players from both teams over the next couple of years, Minnesota will compete for Big Ten title.

I was thinking the same thing. Both Stewart and Johnson for Wayzata look to have college bodies and height. Stewart is an amazing shooter, at least in this game. She got the right name for sure.
