Paige and Azzi: SC30 Camp

Paige is hanging with her BFF, who now looks about 5’10”.

They are both listed at 5-11 and as I have mentioned before Paige is a couple inches taller.

Uni colors should be rethought.
For sure. They are vaguely reminiscent of a certain school in central TN. Since this is Steph’s camp, I’m surprised he didn’t come out with royal blue & gold.

.-.
Is Azzi able to participate in the camp? Or is she just there watching?

Isn't Fudd still waiting to have her ACL fixed? Thought the first step was fixing the MCL, letting that heal, then dealing with the ACL injury?

No, the ACL surgery is complete and she's rehabbing it now. I believe she can do stand still shooting but no jumping or drills that require twisting and torqueing the knee.

Surgery was performed at the end of May.

Azzi had her surgery on May 29, after the other injury healed.

Me too, but I'm looking for an NC THIS year. Like Sean Connery said to Katherine Zeta Jones in Entrapment: "Impossible.... But do-able."

Ditto. If you don't set your sights high, you'll never be highly achieving.

In "The Roads Must Roll," Heinlein had a couple of slogans along tho lines of your quote. The first I have to paraphrase, it was something like "We're doing the difficult today, the impossible tomorrow." The second I'm pretty sure I have accurate, "The impossible always takes a little longer."

I should have added that I'm also looking forward to seeing Nika Muhl.

I wasn’t sure what JordyG was referring to, but I think it’s this.

She is only 6-1 and almost dunking. She's also has put some muscle on since the end of the season. Can't wait to see her in a UConn uni.

Paige is a long way from "almost dunking".

Glad Steph did not see that Paige's favorite NBA guard was Kyrie Irving (Still a major head scratcher to me). ;)

So it looks like the greatest 3-pt shooter in the history of the NBA beat a girl.....barely.....way to go Steph!
To me, it's has nothing to do with the girl part and everything to do with the fact that she's a rising junior in high school. I'd hope he'd beat the pants off any man or woman that doesn't have a professional contract and a shoe deal...

Wasn't there a big story last year that Azzi beat Curry in an extended 3 pt competition?

Oh. Actually decided to research it myself and see that my memory was not good.:oops:

Beat the boys to win the camp 3 pt competition but lost to Steph

Azzi Fudd is the 15-year-old girl who dominated Stephen Curry’s elite basketball camp

Fudd then got to take on Curry in a three-point shootout, but failed to beat him. Here’s what she said when it was over, per the Washington Post:

“After when he gave me the trophy, he said, ‘Congrats on winning,’” Fudd said. “I said, ‘I didn’t win, I didn’t beat you.’ Then he told me, ‘You’re coming back next year,’ so I’m going to try to beat him next year. That’s the goal, to beat him.”

Shame her injury prevented her from beating him. :(
