Wazzu @ #24 Cal tied just before halftime.

When I turned the game on a few minutes ago Arizona was leading #22 Oregon St. Beavers must've gone on a run to end the 1st half, now up 38-27.

USC beat Utah on the road. After starting out 0-3, the Trojans have won 3 straight.

Oregon St. has been struggling to score in recent games but the 3 ball is dropping today and they're blowing this one wide open 51-31 in the 3rd quarter.

OSU only hit one 3 in their win against ASU on Friday. Today they are 12-22 behind the arc and it's still in the 3rd quarter. Pivec is on triple double watch--7 points, 7 rebs, 7 assists. Leading 59-33. Where has this version of the Beavers been hiding? And how did Arizona hang around w/ Oregon most of the game on Friday?

88-48 Oregon St. Hard to believe it was tied after 1Q and Arizona was up 3 somewhere in the middle of the 2nd Q. That turned around in a large way. OSU ended up 16-27 behind the arc. Tudor hit 6 and two other players hit 3 each. Pivec ended up w/ 10 pts. 9 reb. 8 assists, but she sat the last 5 1/2 minutes.

Cal 54 Wazzu 52 w/ 4 1/2 minutes left.

Cal wins 66-60. Anigwe w/ 30 pts. and 17 boards. Big weekend for her. Combined 56 pts and 27 rebs. Hristova w/ 25 for the Cougs.

There might not be any truly elite teams in the Pac, but lots of good players and usually exciting games.

Stanford and Washington just underway. Kaylee Johnson has gotten criticism for lack of production, but she's having a good weekend. 10 pts. and 15 rebounds on Friday and she scored the first 6 points for Stanford today. Cardinal up 7-6.

Kind of a ragged start. Stanford leading 15-11 after 1Q. Layshia Clarendon is on the broadcast team.

UCLA is thumping Colorado, 28-9 early in the 2Q.

UCLA cruising 52-28 at halftime.

Stanford was building a lead w/out playing particularly well. UW couldn't hit a shot to save their life. Was 31-16, but UW got a 5 point possession and then another bucket to close the half, lead down to 8.

Where are Plebe and ochoopsfan? I'm getting lonely in this thread.

Stanford up 47-31 after 3Q. They look bad but UW looks horrible.

UCLA up 73-40 just before the end of the 3Q.

UCLA has 5 players in double figures...and neither Canada or Billings is one of them. That's a bit surprising.

Stanford is playing better in the 4th quarter and running away with it 59-39.

71-45 Stanford final.

93-55 UCLA final.

Oregon vs. Arizona St. coming up at 5 PST.

Oregon looked like they were sleepwalking for about half of their game against Arizona on Friday. I figured they'd be sharper today. They are. Leading 22-12 after 1Q. Shooting 10-13 from the floor. Ionescu has 11 points on 5-5.

Cazorla moved into the #2 spot in career assists at Oregon early in the game. She's got a long way to go to catch#1, so she may not get there. If Ionescu keeps up her current place she's gonna end up way up the list too. How crazy that 2 of the top 3 assist totals in school history could play 3 years together.

On the broadcast they keep saying 2nd in Pac 12 history, but that's just flat out wrong. It's second in school history. They've repeated that several times, and it's wrong each time.

Oregon looked like they were going to run away with it, but ASU has come storming back. 36-31. Ekmark has hit a couple 3's. Just before halftime.

38-34 at halftime. Ionescu has 17 on 7-8 FG and 5 reb, but 0 assists. UO shooting 67% from the floor, but only 1 made 3. Ibis has 15 for ASU on 7-9 FG.

Will Oregon State be able to get off open 3's against Oregon next weekend? If Oregon State shooters are given time to shoot, they are darn good. Arizona didn't pressure OSU at all, like UCLA & USC, and OSU had time to run their offense. The teams that are successful against OSU, make them work hard to get it past half court. And then OSU doesn't have time to run their offense. Arizona applied little to no pressure. Good news is that OSU didn't play down to the level of Arizona.

I really don't like how Pac 12 scheduling has teams playing their rival/travel partner back to back games. In Corvallis on Friday and Eugene on Sunday. Current win streak in the series is 13 for OSU. The streak might end at some point next weekend.

You checking out the competition? Ionescu hasn't really been an unstoppable scorer thus far in her career, but she's got 20 early in the 3rd Q on 8-10 shooting tonight.

14-0 Ducks run so far in the 3rd quarter, turning into a blowout. 52-34.

Oregon outscores ASU 21-5 in Q3. 59-39. Ducks shooting 71% from the floor! For the game, not just the quarter. About the only thing they've done wrong tonight is 12 TO's.

Oregon is going to take sole possession of PAC-12. I thought this ASU game would be closer.

They were already in 1st place. ASU lost Friday night to Oregon St. Stanford will be all alone in 2nd place, several teams are tied for 3rd at 4-2.

74-64 final. That score is REALLY deceptive. It wasn't close. It was 70-45 midway thru the 4th quarter. ASU added some window dressing late, but they got whupped. Ekmark finished w/ 15 points, 9 of it was late in the game. Oregon's FG% "plummeted" to 66%, it was 74% midway thru the 4th. Ionescu scored 26 on 11-15 FG and Hebard had 20 on 9-9.

I was going to say the same thing about the score. It wasn’t that close. Oregon was dominant. Civil War this weekend!!!

Civil War this weekend!!!

That's gonna be interesting. OSU has a long winning streak in the series (12 or 13 I think). Probably gonna be broken this year. OSU would probably be pretty happy w/ a split.

There is currently a 4 way tie for 3rd in the Pac (UCLA, Cal, ASU and OSU). 2 more teams at 3-3. While the top 8 are fairly bunched up, the bottom 4 have clearly separated themselves already. 1-5 or 0-6.

I don't think it is entirely on the shooters being slow. Tudor has one of the quickest catch and releases I have ever seen. I think it's as much about the passers lack of court vision and recognition open players. It takes them too long to recognize the open players. There high turnover rate also gives evidence to that. It will help when Slocum becomes eligible next season and can play the point. Pivic hasn't played the point since the 7th grade and it shows.
