Either BYU is going to stop shooting themselves in the foot and blow UConn's doors in the 2nd half, or
UConn's secondary plays tight and physical against the BYU WRs and shuts down the BYU O while the UConn O gets its sea legs and pulls away for the win.

I think Thomas isn't targeted enough. He leads in catches and averages 15 yds a catch. Nothing to sneeze at. Love Beals so not a slight.

Glad the strarted playing Max. He is the least dynamic HB, but the only one who understands blitz assignments.

I'd love for BYU to gift us this game, but what we really need to see is some decent coaching, better blocking and a competent organized offense. These guys aren't bigger faster or stronger. Second half cannot be like the first.

The funny thing is we used to complain about PP and his offensive coordinator(he who's name must not be said) but now that Diaco does all this crazy stuff, I think it freaks us out a bit more....where the heck is the middle ground? I never know what to expect anymore.

Thomas barely gets the ball thrown his way, and yet he leads the team in catches and yards. his stats comes from the fourth quarter when Verducci decides to open up the playbook. Just imagine if he was targeted more through out the game. I think we wouldn't be talking about this.
