Hmm. Strange day around the conference.

Washington was absolutely on fire in the first half, up by 20 on Oregon St. in Corvallis. Coudn't maintain it, but held off a late OSU rally to win 79-67.

I also don't think ASU is in contention as they will beat UW and Cal. I do think the cellar is probably all yours....Rooting for the Husky's but just don't see any thing there....

Have you reconsidered yet? ASU might go winless. UW up 2 games in the win column now, pretty much insurmountable with this year's version of the Devils. Forfeiting a pair of games didn't help.

Is it finally final? Cougs hold off a furious late rally to beat Oregon in Eugene. ESPN was stuck on 1 second left for forever.

Weekend sweep for the Cougs. 3 straight wins. I thought it was perplexing they started 0-3 in conference (Leger-Walker did miss 2 of those games). Middle of the conference is now a jumbled mess, as it usually is.

Yeah, I don't see him turning things around. His previous success might buy him a little grace period, but OSU has been going downhill for about 3 years now.

UCLA ran away from Cal down the stretch. That one was nip and tuck most of the way.

How long can Charmin Smith hang onto her job? As bad as Jody Wynn was, I think Smith's record is even worse.

Well it's not a final, but it's over. When Brink and Jones go 5-25, somebody needs to step up for Stanford, and nobody did. How does a team with that much talent get held to low 40s? Tara, I'm looking at you.

I was impressed with Iriafen early this year, but she seems to have faded. Nothing from the bench today, usually one of the many talented players stashed there can come in and provide a spark.

Kudos to USC. This is Stanford's first loss to a conference opponent in forever.
