I agree was good but PP made it clear he's not tall enough. The bus ran over Whitmer after Towson and PP is so clueless he thinks Whitmer lost the Towson game all by himself.

Whitmer's numbers were inflated tonight after MD went prevent but he shows he can throw. The one issue that I don't think will ever go away is his int's. He's played long enough to show he's going to keep throwing them. Can't win that way.

I agree. Whitmer is not THE problem. Certain coaches are the main problem, but CW has obvious limitations that are exacerbated by him trying to force things. Whatever that option handoff thing he does with McCombs is much less effective on both sides because he is not a viable option to run. His passes are still a touch late because of velocity though timing and accuracy are decent. He doesn't move well in the pocket and height clearly makes some throws impossible.

Maryland tried to help us win this game with drops and fumbles but we couldn't get it done. Give them some credit for some big plays but we are certainly not getting where we need to he.

And did anybody else see GDL trying to run onto the field? I wanted to call the golf cart! Please make it end!

Speaking of coaching decisions, what was up with putting McCombs at kick return when we were down something like 32-13?

The Defense forced multiple turnovers that the Offense squandered. They were gassed and left to fight alone. While I have issues with a few things they did or didn't do, I have no issue with them overall.

I do think Stewart and Donahue should be replaced. But hell, the were part of three or four turnovers...what else can you ask a Defense to do?

This is our defense and you want to give them credit?

From John Silver

C.J. Brown passed for 277 yards and a touchdown and ran for 122 yards and a touchdown as Maryland amassed 501 yards in a 32-21 victory over UConn.

I believe Maryland was better prepared before they took the field. Coaching decisions might not have been enough to overcome that. Need to watch the replay. And didn't Stewart get hurt?

If our offense could have squeezed 13 points out of multiple turnovers...two of which gave us good/great field position....we would all be giving the Defense credit. At some point you run out of gas and hope when you realize you are fight with one hand tied behind your back.

I'm still stunned at the FG return attempt. WTF was he thinking there?

Of course no questions about that decision in the postgame.

It's getting to the point that PP is the President of some Banana Republic and the Horde are govt paid employees and God forbid they ask a tough question. For example, "Why do you consistently score the first touchdown and then completely get out-coached the rest of the game on a regular basis?" and "Were you practicing for your next gig in the CFL, with that call on the field goal?"

FWIW the 5 yd penalty on first down after a change of possession is inexcusable. It sums up PP's tenure. No one should be that incompetent and make over a million dollars.

3-10 Buffalo, Memphis, USF --Buffalo wins in 5 OT vs Stony Brook at home today. If we lose to Buffalo I'd bet the house Warde pulls the trigger early.

I also predict we see Boyle at Buffalo.
Sh#t if we lose to Buffalo, UCONN should throw Warde's A55 on the Buffalo bus as it heads back to NY!

Absolutely wrong about PP and SA...SA first requires a pulse.
