Neither in games. Or as program. It's awful.

It will be a long long season.

The defense looks lost. Sorry Hank, but it will be tough for you to get a good job next year. Awful job....

Agreed. You have two 300lb DT's in the game, so why on earth are you not having your DE's maintain the edge and force the run game inside??!? Yawin is behind the two DT's if they miss. You can't let the QB beat you on the ground AND in the air. Just a horrible, horrible job...

3-10 Buffalo, Memphis, USF --Buffalo wins in 5 OT vs Stony Brook at home today. If we lose to Buffalo I'd bet the house Warde pulls the trigger early.

I also predict we see Boyle at Buffalo.

Great set-up for an Archer reference but I don't think anyone here watches that show

So the next big question is, what kind of Coaching hire will Warde will next make. And who wants to coach here!
As an ESPN article noted when Warde was hired at UCONN, his rein at Buffalo looks like a not so good mixed bag.
And Turner was fired from the Kansas Jayhawks after 2 losing seasons with a combined 5-19 record.

"Of course, any time a new athletic director comes on board, questions always surface about how he will interact with the football coach. Paul Pasqualoni was hired by somebody else. And I don't need to remind you how much consternation his hiring caused former athletic director Jeff Hathaway. Pasqualoni is not on the hot seat by any stretch, but there has to be a sense of urgency to get the Huskies back to a bowl game after missing out this season."

"It should be noted that Manuel hired Turner Gill in 2005 at Buffalo. At the time, Gill was one of just five black head coaches in FBS. After Gill left for Kansas, Manuel then hired former Cincinnati offensive coordinator Jeff Quinn to replace him, though the Bulls have struggled in two seasons with Quinn at the helm, going 5-19."

Is putting Boyle in going to automatically make make the O line look they've played a down of football in their life before this year? Whitmer is fine. Putting up the numbers he has while being pressured on virtually every single throw is impressive.

Was thinking this as well that if we lose to Buffalo, something I truly feel is possible, there should not be a single thing in PP's office when he comes in to work the next day. The lock to his door should already have been changed. 0-4 with loses to Towson and Buffalo and not acceptable, especially in Year 3. I am not on the "Hate Warde and Herbst" train like many here are but I will join the hate Warde train should we lose to Buffalo and PP is still our coach.

Whitmer is not the problem. We got two nice WRs that are pretty good. Our OL is atrocious. If we had the OL we had in the past, Whitmer will look like Joe Montenna out there. Put Boyle in will not solve anything. We need to fire GDL and take him as far away from that OL as possible.

I agree was good but PP made it clear he's not tall enough. The bus ran over Whitmer after Towson and PP is so clueless he thinks Whitmer lost the Towson game all by himself.

Whitmer's numbers were inflated tonight after MD went prevent but he shows he can throw. The one issue that I don't think will ever go away is his int's. He's played long enough to show he's going to keep throwing them. Can't win that way.

I'm still stunned at the FG return attempt. WTF was he thinking there?

Of course no questions about that decision in the postgame.

The Defense forced multiple turnovers that the Offense squandered. They were gassed and left to fight alone. While I have issues with a few things they did or didn't do, I have no issue with them overall.

I do think Stewart and Donahue should be replaced. But hell, the were part of three or four turnovers...what else can you ask a Defense to do?
