The thing with suspenseful shows like this where it seems like everything is going to fall apart in the third episode but you know there’s 7 more episodes and another full season it’s hard to take the suspense seriously.

I also couldn’t take it seriously when the strip club owner said to Ruth “ we both know you’re not a beauty.”

Finished season 1 just this weekend because the wife has been sick.

I definitely get the Breaking Bad references. They’re even both starring goofy 99s/00s sitcom dads!
