Hitting free throws and taking care of the basketball will keep you in just about any game. And failure to do so can take you out of games you have the talent to win. I hope UConn ends up being a consistent 80+% FT team.

We should shoot free throws well because -- all the guards are good shooters from anywhere on the court -- especially KML. Our Center (Stef) is a really good FT shooter (which is not the case for most centers). Kiah Stokes has an exceptionally efficient FT motion.

I will not be surprised if this team ends the season with the highest FT % in UConn history.

I think it was better than both exhibition games as well. I hope it is the sign of things to come. Good FT shooting may be very valuable next Monday.
