I'm really curious of the tallies if anyone is keeping track. How many players and recruits are flipping from Toledo to UConn vs from UConn to CSU. Next year could be really tough for Toledo. Looked up some info if not already posted.

Toledo New coach: Michael Jacobs (46) coming from Mercer in Georgia, also coached at Purdue, Cal, ND. From Ohio and played at Ohio State. Mercer was 8-0 and 9-2 in the SoCon and ranked 18. Could be an excellent recruiter himself.
 
I was disappointed in the number of Toledo recruits that had followed coach Candle but the last few recruits have softened that disappointment.

I guess there were 2 everyone was really high on, center and safety, that we didn’t get. Feeling as though we did pretty good with the upper crust kids

As of 3:42 PM EST today (portal only):
From UConn to CSU, the outflow is 8.
From Toledo to UConn, the inflow is 15.
Also add in 7 players coming to UConn from P4 programs. It's been a steady build.

Coach Candle is bringing in some impressive young talent. His Midwest experience is a plus. OH has good football. Staff put together to recruit Midwest to East Southeast. Excited to see how he balances youth with ready to play now transfers.

It requires running backs that have good vision and cutback skills because the RB is looking for the natural seam. There is no designated hole to attack just a directionality. Thats why sometimes they are hesitating waiting for something to open. Cam was phenomenal at finding seems and making counter flow cuts. Rosa on the other hand largely struggled because he is more of hit the hole then bounce out back. In a traditional offensive assignment scheme he may be a lot more successful because linemen are given assignments specifically that create holes by driving or leveraging their defenders out of the space. One plays sheet music. The other plays Jazz.

In hs, Cam was an actual running back, and Victor was a qb, who it seemed was more like a single wing tailback.
 
Still shocked at how many guys are getting P4 offers…could mean a variety of things, though I am somewhat glad they mostly didn’t end up in Fort Collins.

1. The team’s talent was truly that incredible for a G5 and these players turn it up at their new locations

2. P4 programs are increasingly turning to G5 starters for depth/resources

3. Transfer-outs being overzealous about destinations in hindsight and ending up buried at these other spots.

All of the above. The whole process is such a cluster, it’s like a Sadie Hawkins dance on steroids. Speed dating. Musical chairs with a 45 played at 78. I’m sure these coaching staffs have a system/philosophy in mind, but executing it and staying with it has to be tough. Love to be a fly on the wall at staff meeting. The better Players actually seem like they might have more of a chance of getting what they want/need than the schools do. As much as I am not interested in following the former Huskies, the numbers guy in me wants to do a study to see how it turned out for everyone.

Are you able to run an updated projection? curious if the calculation is the same given all the activity. 247 still hasn't had any updates since last week and I don't see how to get this projection at the site
