And we cant shoot from 3

If the zone trips us up this bad there's no way we're beating Cuse

You mus no pay much attention. It hasn't been one game where our bigs have cost us turnovers and we have struggled from 3. AO has NEVER had great hands and we shot 11% today, 21% against Maine. We're streaky a best from 3. If this "one game" was against even a half-decent opponent, I wouldn't care as much but we lost to UCF. In an embarrassing way.

It was terribly clear that is was the zone that screwed us up in the second half. UCF's zone. How do you think we will do against Cuse's zone if we don't improve before we play them?

Get a grip, we stunk against the zone for at least half of last year, we were shredding any zone we saw by the end of the year. Oriakhi doesn't have great hands but Drummond does.

We stunk against the zone last year but there's this minor problem that we don't have a zone buster like Kemba this year. JL dribbles too much and Bazz showed us today he isn't much better at penetrating against a zone.

And it wasn't even a great zone; IT WAS UCF.

you didn't say anything the past few games, one game of poor shooting from three and they suck... also this was the best game by our bigs all year

Tyler still looks like he doesn't have strong hands but don't agree with you overall. And we can beat Cuse or anyone else.

I didn't say anything after the Maine game because I figured it was a fluke.
How well the bigs played does not change the fact that AO has no hands and AD has iffy hands. Can't really blame them since they have banana bunches for hands but sill

Having to dribble and dribbling oo much are two different things.
Bazz's having to lead the team should not affect his driving ability.

remember last year when we couldn't run an offense through zone at all...and then the big east game against cuse happened...just wait for the "click" in this offense...starting lineups are still not set, the bench is still not set...our number 2 ball handler has not played a minute this season...we dont have an identity yet but as you can see we are clearly starting to produce it...and its going to be through our bigs...lamb cant carry us the whole season and bazz is not supposed to be a 20+ point scorer...way to much talent on this team...everyone just needs to breathe a little...we are only 6 games into the season...i sure as hell am still excited about this team...the ceiling for our team is ridiculous

Exactly and sort of.

Lamb has to dribble because he has to develop that part of the game. The only way to develop it is to do it. If every kid who turned the ball over was told not to dribble anymore, nobody would be able to dribble. It takes practice so have fun watching him get better at it.

Bazz did run the team a lot last year. The difference is he had another point guard on the floor most of the time. Now that he has boat to help and as Lamb continues to develop his handle, Napier will get better and better. He's done a great job in several games. This was the fiercest D he's seen. Just like Lamb, he has to learn and these are the games that are teaching moments. He'll be fine.

I agree that Lamb has to dribble with a purpose intead of just cruising around - you can use a pass to do that. There's got to be a reason and goal in mind when he puts the ball on the floor.

one game. chill out.
Thats the biggest bs response. I hate it when people post, the its only one game line. Its not one game. Oriakhi hasnt been able to catch a pass or grab a loose ball for 3 yrs now. Olander has weak hands and cant ever grab anything. Roscoe drops a ton and Drummond even drops a few although he appears to have good hands. What the OP said was a legit argument. Our bigs dont have good hands and, no its not just one game. Its every game.
