There was a comment in another thread where AI (hopefully) came up with the wording biasness.

But in fact, as I watch all the great games that have been on TV, I find I have a bias towards and against certain teams other than Arizona and Rutgers. They are not teams I "follow" or would consider myself a "fan" of. I'm talking a general thing, not the situational rooting because they are in your conference during the OOC or because you played them and want them to do well, not that sort of thing. In the P4 conferences plus the Big East:

I tend to root for - Iowa, Northwestern, Kentucky (due to the coach), South Carolina, Texas, Vanderbilt, Duke, Stanford, TCU and Villanova.

I tend to never root for - Penn State, Maryland, Alabama, Ole Miss, Syracuse, ASU, Baylor, Seton Hall

Anyone else care to share?

UConn is my ride or die. I like to see Vanderbilt, Louisville, Stanford and UCLA do well.

If any of these teams were playing each other, I’d hope they both lose…Tennessee, Notre Dame, South Carolina, Ole Miss and LSU.

I can't say I am a fanatic for any team besides South Carolina but at times there are teams/coaches that capture my attention. Examples with this season: NC State, Louisville, Texas, Vanderbilt, UConn, Michigan. If any of the above teams are playing top 25 competition, I tend to watch.

I can't say I actively root against any team though there are some styles of play that make me grimace, like Tennessee, and then some West coast teams just play too late for me to stay up and watch (Oregon, USC, UCLA, etc.), that I just never prioritize them even when they're on the TV at a reasonable hour.

None of the four schools from which I have degrees has a competitive WCBB team, so I've never really rooted for any them, although I sort of follow three of them with sporadic and distant interest. UConn is the only women's college team I've ever really rooted for.

I'm not particularly emotional about it. It's just seasonal entertainment.

Other than rooting against UConn's opponents during games, I've never had any animosity toward or dislike of any program or coach.

I do watch quite a few other women's college teams on TV or stream, not because I root for any of them, but just because basketball has been my favorite team sport all my life. However, when I watch games other than UConn, I often do find myself rooting for one of the teams in that particular game for various and unpredictable reasons.

I watch the WNBA far less than college, but I've never had a rooting interest in any WNBA team. I mainly just follow a few players I like. I probably like watching high school games with high level recruits more than I do the WNBA.

I will not root for or watch Notre Dame, Maryland, Tennessee or LSU. I will only watch if they are playing UConn.
I will watch BE games too but don't really root for any team.
Its interesting that Notre Dame, Tennessee and LSU are all part of a group that I don't typically root for, but I could situationally, unlike the teams I listed. But I don't extend it to not watching them. The vast majority of games are what you say about BE, I really don't root for anyone.

I h*te everything ND.

I usually root for Louisville (met coach Jeff one time and liked him), Duke (my son got his PhD there), Michigan (always liked coach Joanne, even back to the St John’s days), Vandy, Princeton
I never root for ND, LSU, TENN
I don’t root for SC, but really respect their Staley.

As a long time PAC-12 fan (RIP) I do find myself rooting for ex-members more than I thought I would. Even USC and UW. I root for and follow UCLA just because I enjoy their current team. I follow TCU (coach Campbell) plus Vermont and Richmond (Maggie Doogan) in nonP4.
On my “like to see them lose” list: ND, tOSU, Texas, Tenn, Baylor, Louisville, LSU for various reasons. Neutral about most teams. Ivy League is always fun. Just enjoy the game.

I have a handful of teams I pull for to varying degrees, and probably several I always prefer to lose. I adopt temporary rooting interests in some teams because of individual players. Last year I was following Duquesne and Drake somewhat because of McConnell and Dinnebier. They're both gone, the player who is kind of moving into that role for me now (although I haven't been able to watch them much this year) is Chirrick at Montana St.

Old Gamecock here with the 70’s being my fan-formative years.I still pull for any team playing the ACC Tobacco Road schools and UVA - except Clempsun. Heck, I almost pull for Clempsun in WBB.

In the SEC I pull against LSU and Tennessee. I would only grudgingly pull for them if their win against another school would give us a championship.

Who do I pull FOR? Vandy and Northwestern. UConn (although upsets never break my heart)) Stanford.TCU because I like Mark Campbell. Our old Metro Conference buddies, VaTech, to win the ACC in every sport every year

I follow West Virginia as I went to school there. Following them generally leads to frustration. I also follow Maryland as my daughter went to school there and I know several kids who have played for Brenda over the years. One of whom recently passed away, unfortunately.

UConn fan since 94. Besides UConn we root for USF. We have season tickets this year again. But miss Jose. Been following Vandy and Shea's progress as the coach. Like Michigan.

Can't stand group - ND, Tennessee & Cuse.

You mean Kim Barnes Arico not Joanne

My secondary teams vary depending on a bunch of things. I liked watching Maggie Lucas, so watched a lot of Penn State for a couple of years. Ditto Chantel Osahor and Washington. As a couple of others have mentioned, I just like Jeff Walz and watch a few Louisville games every year.

I root for mid-majors. I've liked South Dakota and South Dakota State and used to watch them frequently when the Summit had a free streaming service. Now they're ESPN+, so I've only gotten to see SDSU a couple of times this year when they've played P4 schools. I've been following Richmond the last couple of years, as they're often available on a local sports net -- I saw 5 games last year, have only seen two so far this year. Looking forward to the A-10 tourney; George Mason and Rhode Island are both good this year too.
