Other Hockey games (HE and non HE)

Sergeev is not consistent. Against UConn he was highly motivated and really on. He will be under contract in a couple days though, I would think.
I wonder how much the 10-day layoff affected his play. Seems like a long period to wait to play games.

That shoulda been UConn in the title game. Happy for Western Michigan though.

-> WMU doesn’t mind the cost if it means keeping eyeballs on the program long after this weekend. It makes sense, as the hockey team generates the second-most ticket sales on campus behind football, which reeled in $828,457 during the 2024 fiscal year according to documents submitted annually to the NCAA. WMU’s hockey team, meanwhile, reported $500,777 in ticket revenue—almost five times that of the Broncos men’s basketball team ($103,396).<-

Hockey East grabbing a couple of nice wins. Maine over #6 and UML over #14.

Watching the game between Penn State and Michigan State being played in Beaver Stadium. They sold over 70,000 tickets huge crowd, good game. 2-1 Spartans early in the 2nd. Update…now 2-2 10 minutes remaining in the 2nd.

I did that for 20+ years under the Eero Saarinen Roof. I think I am too old for that now.
