I agree. I watched Florida vs Missouri last week. I believe they were up by 5 or so runs last Sunday and let Missouri back in the game. But the Florida reliever shut it down. And Missouri is last in the SEC East.

Chris Jones has been talking during game broadcasts all season how runs scored in games is up all over college baseball. He indicates that Coach Mac believes the ball being used in games is harder, more slippery, and with lower seams on the ball. I would guess this would seem to imply that pitchers find it is more difficult to control where the ball is going when pitching.

Vandy finishes off Louisville 12-8. Fun game. 8 combined HBP's, once again showing that UConn is hardly alone with occasionally inadequate pitching.
