I know they were upset by Dayton, but yesterday they showed they have plenty of scoring options. Granted it was Chaminade but they have talent. Problem is consistent though, can't win the big one's.

The ex-PC kid Coleman looks real good roaming the baseline and can score efficiently down there. The big kid is a load in the middle and Pangos, Stacom and Bell can all shoot it.

Guess the question for Few is "Is this the usual Gonzaga team?"......look really good vs non-Top25 teams and a team to be wary of when dance time begins only to flounder early again? Or can they make a run finally.....

Big year I think for Few to prove he can get them to beat some big boys!

I think Gonzaga is a year away. When Bell, Pangos and Coleman are Seniors they could have arguably 1 of the top 3 back courts in the country. Karnowski has had trouble against better competition and pads the stats against the doormats. If he opts out of playing for the Polish nation team next summer and stays on campus to work on his game a la Olynyk the 5 spot should be a strength in 2014-15 against elite competition. Karno could find his way to the league.

In the loss to Dayton... Stockton logged around 33 mins and Coleman 9. Few loves Stockton to a fault. When both Pangos and Stockton are playing together in the Zaga munchkin line up they get lit up b/c of defensive deficiencies. WSU and Dayton destroyed the munchkin line up that Few loves so much. It will be interesting to see how the Zags do against Arkansas today. If they lose they risk the quality of win threshold not being met this year. The WCC is weak outside of BYU (and they always find ways to lose because of their defense).

Angel Nunez the Louisville transfer becomes eligible at the end of December. They have no front court depth without him.

Forgot about Nunez nice addition. Agree with you on Stockton and the 2 playing too much together. They both have defensive liabilities and i can see Arkansas also giving them fits today. Some good games on today actually good day to get the errands done and stay out of the rain!

Next year they also have Perkins coming in at PG. That should bolster their backcourt as well.

Happy Thanksgiving...

Hopefully you and Fluedy don't have any water balloons aimed at anyone this holiday season. :)
