Seriously! Nobody has mentioned 2 of the great "anthems" from the 60's/70's, both by Crosby, Still, Nash & Young.

the anthem of an entire generation

and

which personified the anti-war sentiment

I can't believe that there are 4 pages of songs (great ones at that) with nary a mention of...The Allman Brothers Band...



My wife both loved the Allman Brothers, and we saw them play at an old movie theater in Springfield (Bijou maybe) just after Duane was killed. They were awful, awful, awful. Greg was stoned out of his mind, Dickie Betts tried to salvage the set by doing a 20 minute solo, they played for 40 minutes and left the stage.
