They should get a bunch of local CT beers on tap, would be stupid not to. Would attract craft beer lovers to the stadium and also promoted local CT breweries.
I agree 100%. Same at Rent and XL.
A dedicated CT craft beer stand.
Every week or game, switch it up and bring in a new brewery. Let them sell there line up for a series, week, game day etc. let them bring their own kegurators and lines.
NEBCO one week/game and then bring in hooker, city steam, new park, Firefly, Back east, two roads, hanging hills, Stubborn beauty, counterweight, hog river, relic, stony brook, beer'd etc, etc
I'm sure Solomon has some major contract with InBev and probably can't do this, but make deal where the brewer pays Solomon a hefty beer stand fee and a certain % goes to the major distributor to counter the reduced beer sales of crappy beer.
I went to opening day.
$12 for a 32oz beer. (Compared to a 20oz for $9 @ XL and rent)
I saw yuengling IPL, long trail green blaze, nectar of the goats(hooker)
Some blue point beer (LI brewer , couldn't remember name)
Like someone said earlier, I think the boxes and suites had a better selection of cans etc. Walking around the concourse among the common folk, that's what I saw for a beer selection. I settled for a 6.5abv green blaze
