That was what was disappointing to me. I think the American girls were excellent, but no one else even challenged.

FWIW, the Russians can challenge in the individual events. Whether they do is another story.

Looking at how they finished at a team on each apparatus it was really telling. The US had the highest total on 3 of the 4. Their "weak" event that they always talk about on tv...they ranked 3rd. Guess it's all relative to the other teams.
