OT- WLNY on Comcast in FFld Cty

A few months ago Comcast in FFld County started broadcasting WLNY on Long Island in HD.

Every Saturday they show ACC men's hoop games. Any idea how/why a small channel in NY hooks up with the ACC?

WLNY is actually owned by CBS - they showed Big East games until they lost the rights. Now, they show whatever they can at noon on Saturdays.

I'm sure they picked up the ACC instead of the Big 12 or SEC local package by freaking accident.
