Kibitzer's BBQ recipe broke the ice. The dog days of summer are grilling days.

I put a pork butt on the grill about 10:30 this morning. It's slow cooking over mesquite chips. Tonight it's Kalua pork (or as close as I can get without the Ti leaves and guys in grass skirts), brown rice, grilled asparagus and grilled pineapple slices.
 
Tonight...

Grilled boneless leg of lamb for the CTyank household... Roasted potatoes and roasted onions.. Corn on the cob... A nice robust red wine...
 
Marinated tempeh and corn on the cobb.
 
Like, where do y'all live? Might just drop by.
 
I had moms over and the sister in law. I jerked up some chicken chests and followed with four seasoned burgers that were topped with either swiss or havarti.
 
Salmon, marinated in soy/sesame oil/ginger or soy/garlic (or just plain & lightly crisped)

Roasted vegetables: onion, red pepper, mushroom, cauliflower basted with olive oil & oregano

Portobello mushroom "burgers", red peppers & mozzarella
 
Swordfish in a lemon/pepper marinade. Steamed veggies tossed in butter and lightly seasoned.
 
Okay, I'm comin' over all y'all's houses fer dinner. Don't worry, I'll bring the wine!
