My wife and her 50 or so year old girlfriends went also and as old fans, they were impressed in comparison to expectations. Said they rocked - she was sending me video and back and it seemed ok. I'm not a big Van Halen/Roth fan so can't go by me.

Huge fan back in the day. First show 1984 when i was 12. Enjoyed both incarnations but agree DLR was classic rock and Sammy was more late 80's shmaltz. Saw this reunion at MSG in 2012. Dave was forgetting words then just as he does now. Setlist is very similar. Wife and I had fun. She was 3 in 1984.

I was at a different show so couldn't go. A friend of mine posted some clips. I thought Roth sounded terrible in them, like it wasn't singing. But maybe just a couple bad ones.

Fantastic setlist tonight. Dave is goofy but sounded much better than I expected. The three Van Halens still really bring it. A very good show.
