Get the @k out of here he just signed an extention no?“@footballscoop: KC Keeler has been let go as head coach at Delaware. http://post original url/oFbwfgqH”
Or if he did it didn't include a motorcyclesomething doesn't sound right with this one... hopefully he didn't have a Petrino moment...
“However, at this important time in UD Athletics, and after thorough evaluation over the past two months, I believe a change of direction is needed in Delaware football. We must reinvigorate our program and reenergize our supporters as we lay the foundation for future success.”
at this important time in Delaware athletics? Is Delaware trying to get into the ACC ahead of us too? Big East?
They're a state flagship, theyre gunning for the B1G. Trying to get a massive rivalry going against Rutgers and Maryland.“However, at this important time in UD Athletics, and after thorough evaluation over the past two months, I believe a change of direction is needed in Delaware football. Funny even Delaware acts more big time than UConn. Fire PP. Fire him today.
So firing a coach=big time? That's pretty strange logic. Programs become big time because they take the time to build something and stick to it even when things look bleak, not by firing a coach every time they lose a game or have a bad season. UD probably just made a huge mistake, but at least TDHusky thinks it makes them look big time.
TDH I think you would agree that if Pasqualoni & company had the matching record Chizik and his crew had the past 2 seasons he would have been fired too. I think the Pitt and Louisville games saved P's job.Yep. Places like Delaware at their level in CAA and Auburn (three seasons removed from national championship) are not satisfied with mediorcre to poor seasons. Maybe it just a New England thing . . . . heck, Carm Cozza coached forever at Yale. Yeah, maybe that's the model UConn's following.
You know, I've been thinking this as well. His chance to move up to the FBS level and stay somewhat regional. I could see it.Potential OC interview for UCONN???
