People in their police department should be fired for deliberately sweeping this under the rug. This is clear cut, the university already has evidence that its police do not care.

If the allegations of the family are well founded, then this one really smells:

Robinson said her "humiliation turned to rage when I (later) listened to the recorded interviews of my rapist by DPS investigators."

"The NCAA infractions committee has announced that it has put a hold on any decision regarding the University of North Carolina's academic fraud issues. The committee agrees with UNC that it should wait until after the school can investigate recent rape cover up charges to determine if that information would be pertinent to the NCAA's investigation. The school has also put the NCAA on notice that it intends to have other scandalous bits of news periodically released to push off the decision indefinitely."
