A. What parent would ok this?

B. No fear of any ban?

Alls well in Carolina.

Wtf

All is not well in Carolina. This is the only '15 commitment they have so far, he's not a top-100 recruit, and he comes from a UNC family.

Luke Maye, a 6-foot-7, 230 pound power forward has committed to the Tar Heels.

A top 150 player in the nation, Maye will walk on his freshman year in Chapel Hill, but will receive a scholarship for the remaining years, according to Lake Norman Citizen reporter Justin Parker.

Maye averaged 17.4 points and 11.8 rebounds per game on the EYBL Circuit for Team United.

Maye’s father Mark played quarterback for the Tar Heels in the mid-1980s.

Maye is the first commit for the Tar Heels in the class of 2015.

He might be the first and last!

Makes more sense now. Runs in the family.

If they get banned he can transfer out without sitting.

Only if he is going to be a senior. Remember, Roscoe had to sit out a year while Oriahki didn't.

because it was only a 1 year ban. If they give UNC the same punishment as Uconn this board will explode.

This isn't a good sign for North Carolina - they beat Davidson for this pile of ground chuck in sneakers.

Stephan Zimmerman just cut UNC when he reduced his schools to five.

UNC ain't used to finishing sixth in a five-horse race.

Since he'll be a non scholly player his first year he can walk without sitting

They'll likely get a lot of kids just outside of their normal pedigree certainly from the NC area. I would assume Roy will take a hike though, does anyone think he's good anyways?

I give K credit, even though he almost always has top level talent, but Roy Williams literally needs to have by far the most talented team to have a realistic shot at winning the title. Guys like Calhoun and Izzo can take a team anywhere if they have even one guy who is that good
