Never watched a minute of field hockey in my life, but anytime a squad from UNC loses in the post season.. its a good thing. Thank you UCONN field hockey :)

LOL I thought you'd like that trialdukefan.

Wonderful, and soon the Husky field hockey dynasty will be going for NC #9. Lucky they weren't playing a UNC team in an NC game, because from soccer experience that's always a challenge. But if three ACC teams are in the final 4 but the AAC team ultimately comes out on top, that will be sweet.

UConn is a perennial power in field hockey and has two national championships, albeit from the 1980's. For years and years, UConn and ODU was a big rivalry. Good to see the Huskies challenging for a title again.

Even better, it's UConn vs Duke. A new rivalry begins. UConn is 3-0 all time vs Duke in field hockey but I don't know how recent those games are. The Huskies have a long field hockey resume.

Long before wbb, fh and m/w soccer were dominant on the national sceen. FH remained a peren. F4/8.Should be an interesting final.
Long live Uconn sports.
