OT- Thyroid 0peration Update

They successfully removed my left thyroid and decided that my right was not needed to be removed. So it was great news to hear when I woke up. Just got home about an hour ago and my better half is picking up my prescriptions at the VA Hosp. Have a drain tube attached until the 20th.
Hey, Sarge, wishing you a speedy recovery.
BTW, do you do much military Space-A travel in retirement? I'm thinking about trying to get a hop to Ramstein for the early November opener vs. Kentucky.

Continue your road to a fantastic recovery. A little research shows many as we age need to take a Thyroid supplement, low and behold I'm one of them. Stay strong, be well.

Keep going, MSGRET. The Boneyard needs you. Prayers and good wishs.

I wish to thank everyone for the get well wishes. I do have a small setback to announce and that's I will not get my drain tube removed on Tuesday due to the Dr having to schedule surgery, it has now been moved back to next Friday. I would also like to pass around a "Big HI" to all the Boneyarder's from Rex, better known as "Carnac" when emailed me a get well soon.

Get well soon Master Sergeant. It sounds like that is more of a scheduling issue rather than a medical setback (I hope that I'm reading that correctly). Tell Carnac hi back. His posts are definitely missed also. We will hopefully be seeing your posts on a regular basis very soon with a full recovery.

Get well Sarge. I'm real happy to hear that Carnac is still with us. Suddenly disappearing like he did, well...

Hi Sarge, Wishing you a speedy recovery. I suggest you rewatch this year’s six NCAA tournament games. I think it will help with the healing process and will certainly put you in a good mood. Please let Carnac know we miss him here on the BY.
I'm rewatching both the Big East and NCAA tournaments for the third time since the surgery. The Arkansas St vs UConn game is on as I post.

Just have enough time that you can wait if you miss the first flight

I hope you’re almost fully recovered now. Best wishes.

I often think of you because one of my sidelines (as I approach retirement) is writing novels, and mine all focus on the armed services, mainly the Navy/Marines, and one of my central characters is a grizzled veteran Marine sergeant.

Best wishes for a full and complete recovery.
Don't know if you remember me but we met at circus circus in Reno. You gave my wife and I a ride to Gabby Williams homecoming game.
If I remember right I was the one who told you about the boneyard.

Only flew Space-A once back in 77, as active duty, never again. By the way I believe that the opener is against Louisville from what I've read.
