Okafor was a much more dominant college player than Jameer Nelson but it's a cute media story when St. Joe's goes 27-0 and in the regular season.

Correct! Oak played in the best conference and put up silly numbers against better teams. Going undefeated in St Joe's conference is not like going undefeated in the BE. To the previous posters, my comments have nothing to do with both players NBA careers.

it probably didn't help Okafors case that he had to miss some games due to back problems, Emeka even missed the first 2 games of the BE tournament, as great as Emeka was how good would the 04 team be without him, ranked in the 20s sweet 16 perhaps, now how would St Joes do without Jameer Nelson. If Emeka didn't miss any games then I would feel Emeka got screwed.
