OT: Syracuse men to NIT

One of the most hotly debated bubble teams in recent memory: Syracuse (18-14, 10-8 in the ACC).

Points in favor:

• Quality wins over Duke (a #2 seed), Florida St (#3), Virginia (#5), Miami (#8), Wake Forest (#11). That's three top-25 wins and five top-50 wins.
  
• Tied in ACC standings with Miami (#8) and Virginia Tech (#9), and finished ahead of Wake Forest (#11).

Points against:

• Went 2-11 in games away from home.
  
• Went 8-6 against nonconference SOS #215 (including a loss to Boston College and a 33-point loss to St. John's).
• RPI of #84 would have been by far the lowest RPI ranking to ever receive an at-large bid.

CBS bracketologist Jerry Palm had Syracuse out. ESPN's Joe Lunardi had projected them in, and the talking heads on ESPN (Bilas, Lawson, Vitale, ugh) say they're surprised Syracuse was left out.

But after what Coach Boehim said about my city after his team lost in the ACC Tourney ....... Im not mad that they are going to the NIT
