OT: Shabazz Muhammed fibbed about his age

Kind of an ugly article in the LA Times today.

My favorite parts of the article...where it's revealed that the kid has shaved a year off of his age and that his dad served time for a financial crime. And when the reporter asks for comment on it, Shabazz's dad offers to make the reporter his publicist.

It also appears that the family lives well with no visible means of support - they own properties that are 'not in their name'. Hmm.

In my opinion, the biggest problem USC is going to have in filling their vacancy is that UCLA is about to have one of their own.

Simply priceless, you really can't make this up. It seems hard to believe that UCLA will come out unscathed from dealing with Holmes, but the NCAA was burned quite badly from their first investigation, i doubt they want to open up that can of worms again.
