absolutely 100% agree! i stayed up and watched it as well. she has looked better with each round, although it gets tough from now....if she gets by markarova, sharapova has looked very strong.

hope the ankle stays strong... hope she reay mentally, seems to tighten up against Sharapova types (quality players) but I guess thats normal since they dish out basically what she dishes out.

I would get up at 3 am to watch her for a million bucks (but then there are a lot of unpleasant things I would do for a million bucks). Never really liked Serena. (although I recognize her talent)

She actually has a really great record against Sharpie (7 or 8 to 2)...apart from when Sharpie first came into the picture, Serena has owned her, particularly of late (Sharpie actually admitted that until she wins more against Serena, their matches cannot constitute a rivalry). I think Clijsters is Serena's most difficult opponent because she is so great defensively (amongst the big-hitters).

I really really want to see Serena play Kvitova (in her current form).

I think she's like Geno: she's a very polarizing celebrity.

However, I have to admit that Geno has always come across as a "good" person; I wouldn't same the same about Serena.

I know you mean no harm but it would be interesting to know... what you dont like if you think she's talented. Personally I could care less about her grunting, dedication to the game, who she dates, does she fake injuries, her colorful outfits, her speaking up/defending herself stance... I like her power on the court.

Clijsters looks great so far. Wozniacki just doesn't seem to have the game to hurt the more powerful hitters.
