I am removing an above ground oil tank that is in good condition (finally converting to nat gas.). Are any yarders scrappers that would be interested in the tank (275 gallon and empty)? The tank is in West Hartford.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to build yourself a great smoker. Turn that baby into a mean, meat cooking machine.

yup but u have to factor in that uconn as a school sucks so bad that we can't have bbq grills for tailgating. so it would be for home use only. down in tennessee your allowed to shoot guns and hang squirels while tailgating for a game but up here u can only have propane grills and 2 beers per person. no throwing the fball and cover those tits up 2!

Saw a This Old House episode where they removed an old oil tank in Essex CT. It was not easy and experts were called in to drain the tank, clean the sludge, cut it in half on site, crush the 2 pieces and haul it away. It was anything but simple and did not look cheap. Sorry to ruin your day.
