Because Tom Crean is a disaster as an in game coach. Ask Mark Titus of Clubtril and now Grantland

Crean's buyout for this year is between $16-18 MILLION after they needlessly extended him through 23-24 last year (his current contract was through 19-20).

He is an awful in-game coach, mediocre at best recruiter. Woodson is also a bad coach. But Crean is far more irritating as a person.

There is no way that's accurate.

That's Woodson trying to leak something to make himself look like something other than a dismal failure.

Crean could show up to a game naked with a donkey in tow and still keep his job for the next two years. And if he lost it, no way would Indiana be hiring Woodson. A Brinks truck would drive to Brad Stevens' house and if that didn't work, it would go to Fred Hoiberg's house.

It would be at my house before it ever got to Woodson's.

Maybe Crean would be a better coach if he spent more time with his players during a game than the refs. At the UConn game at MSG, he looked like a lost puppy when the refs were at the other end of the court (I had a courtside seat under the basket next to the IU bench).
