It was funny during the game Collinsworth was going over the fact that Romo has never won an elimination game and quoted "This could be a defining moment in Tony Romos career" As soon as he said that im saying to myself here comes a pick lol.
 
Charlie Brown was sucking down beers on the sofa and laughing with Lucy at the Cowboys fans misplaced faith in Romo.

As a Giant fan it's not as much fun watching him throw a rainbow screen since we're cooked to, but it was at least something to smile about.......:D

I been preaching that since we lost Jimmy Johnson due to Coach Jerry Jones' ego... He's Al Davis re-incarnated. I truly believe that he wants to prove to the world that he can turn trash ( an UDFA QB ) into a treasure ( Super Bowl Champ ). Not saying Romo is trash, but IMO, he'll be nothing more than Danny White, who I actually liked a lot... He just never wona Super Bowl for us... Romo's not even on that level yet... Danny White got us to a NFC championship games at least.... We need a GM badly.. and if Garrett remains coach, he needs to hire an OC... He pissed away a few games for us with his stupid playcalling...

As the resident Chargers fan here - Fouts and those San Diego teams did not get to a Super Bowl. They got to 2 AFC Championship games. They were 3 and 4 in the playoffs during Fouts' time there. Those teams were amazing offensively - pre cursor to what you see now in the NFL - but their defense was not good at all. Their best chance to win the Super Bowl back then was 1980 - they beat the Bills in the divisional round but then lost a home game to the Raiders 34 to 27. A year later they beat Miami in that epic overtime game where Winslow was amazing (Fouts threw for over 400 in that game). But then they went to Cincy and played in the "Freezer Bowl" - it was the coldest game in NFL history wind chill wise (something like -40). Their passing offense was horrendous n those conditions and the Bengals won. I think in 5 of the 7 playoff games he threw for 300+ yards. Loved watching those teams play.

I dont think Romo and certainly not Everett are good comparisons at all. Fouts led the NFL in passing yards 4 times I think. He is a Hall of Famer. Romo and Everett are not.
 
But nobody has done it like Romo. When he's not throwing a pick he's dropping the snap as the holder on a game winning FG. That's panashe.
 
the fact that everyone could see this coming is what's frustrating. The guy is not going to change. he will always try to make these throws. He can't avoid it.

At this point, he's not going to change. And until Jones/Garrett decide on a different direction, this is what you can expect.

Johnny Selvie's stepping on the baseline move was less predictable than Romo's performance.

now that I think about it, I should have made money on that predictability...
Now I'm even more frustrated.
 
How the heck did Fouts even get into the Hall of Fame? He made it to 2 AFC championship games. Maybe Jake Delhomme should get elected into the Hall of Fame.

Al Davis won three Superbowls while calling the shots, and lost another. The Cowboys have won just one playoff game with Jerry calling the shots. He has a very long way to go to be Al Davis.
