It’s a glorious mess of a game - third overtime, nine players have already fouled out, 120 free throws(!) - but Rahsool has 44 points for UMass tonight.

They’re down 117-114 midway through the third OT.

Update: 46 points.

118-118.

But how was his defense? :)

Good to see him finding success.

Wow maybe you were right that we shouldn’t have taken Newton and Diarra over Floyd and ‘Sool. Sorry I can’t help myself.

changed to #7 ... that makes all the difference right there.

He had a brutal stretch in the non-con with 8 straight (and 10/11) sub 100 ORTG games, but is certainly playing better now.

Not worth starting a new thread for, but when UMass plays URI at some point, Diggins will be going up against Javonte Brown, who now starts for Rhodey. Was it ten years ago he played at UConn? He now starts at center, and looks like a decent starter from the little I saw of them against GW earlier this year.

His volume is pretty wild for someone who is shooting 36% (32% from 3). He is putting up 14.6 shots per game (AK leading us with 11).

I root for the guy. He seemed like a good teammate when he was here.

His last six games have been a major turnaround from his last three years and the earlier season games this year.
Good for him but it's doubtful he'd be playing any more than AN if he was here this year.
Side note: when I searched for Diggins' statistics, up came Skyler...
had to put in R Diggins. She's still haunting us..........

We played URI in an exhibition game 3 months ago and Javonte played great. 16 and 10 on 5/7 shooting and 6/7 from the line.
