Hopefully pronounced "Blee-witt." Or "Smith."

Not as bad Bill Hechoked, Tom Missedagin, or Wayne Cantkick. Particularly unfortunate for Bill as his Dutch ancestors shortened the surname from Hechokedinspiel.

Or Warren Wideleft or Steve Shankzit.

His cousin, Barney Butterfingers, was one of my favorite receivers.

Or a dentist named Dr. Dick. Or his sister, whom I now work with who is married with a different last name: Linda Dick.
Really, who does that to their kids.

Former Texas Governor James "Big Jim" Hogg named his only daughter Ima. Now that is cruel. Luckily, she was not a woman of great girth.

I have a friend whose name is Richard Long. Yep, you got it. Maybe it's not as cruel for a man to have a name like that. He seems to revel in having such a descriptive name.

My former next door neighbor, Dr. Carver, was the CT medical examiner.

I went to school with a girl named Tana Screws. No matter what her first name was she was doomed for years of cruel comments. I hope she got married. If she did, I wonder if she chose to hyphenate her name.
