I think it's more likely it gets raised than lowered. Not really sure there is ever going to be agreement on this issue, though. If it does get raised, that obviously changes a lot.

But if the league wants older and players association wants younger, perhaps the compromise is what we've been asking for: in right away or 2 years in school.

Really excited about the outcome of this issue. It'll be really interesting for the fans of basketball regardless of how it turns out.

The NBA should go back to the old rule high school to the NBA, if the kid is good enough to play in the NBA out of high school why should he wait.

Because the past has shown it doesnt work out more often than it does. Id like to see a two year college minimum and no high schoolers getting in but thats unrealistic so im all for 2 year min or straight out of high school.

Let kids go to the NBA at 12 if they are good enough. Stop making a mockery of college basketball. Plus Calipari will lose his mind.

Always thought it would make more sense for the NCAA to make the playing field level by making any recruit that leaves after 1 or 2 years having used up that scholarship for the following year. ie 1 year players who declare for the NBA uses 2 years of scholarship and 2 year players use 3 years of scholarship. That would immediately make stockpiling of 5 top 20 players every year a thing of the past. The talent would be more distributed and the product would be far better.

You can't expect the NBA to make decisions that make the college game better.
