OT - Multiple sources reporting investigation of Patriots

In one case a catholic football head coach covered it up. In another a football head coach was not privy too the abuses off campus. Two differences.

You're hopelessly out of your element on this. The guy Miller had been accused multiple times before from way back in the early 1990s. He abused children but there were also complaints for sexual harassment from students on campus, and they were also ignored. Did he rape children on campus? No. But it has never been established that Sandusky did either since the victim in the showers (the kid McQueary saw) testified that he hadn't been raped that night, but he had been on other nights elsewhere. Where it happened is irrelevant. In both cases, people chose to ignore accusations of child rape.

I'm giving you people chance to save your souls.

If you engage upstater about Tom Brady, the Patriots or Penn State, he's not considering your arguments and he is perfectly willing to take this thread to 100 pages if that's what it takes for him to bludgeon you into submission.

Get out while you still have a piece of your minds.

All I do is provide the facts.

You guys can go on into fairytale land. What you need is a psychiatrist because your love for the grundle-planter Peyton has totally blinded you to the obvious.

Do yourself a favor and do NOT search for Ped State U when that story was breaking. Upstater was all over paterno's D since word one.

Actually, I was the first one on here to say they deserved to be hammered. The problem is, you guys are totally blind. Your knees jerk so hard they smash your faces. There were lots of posters here who actually read what I wrote that PSU deserved to be hammered for Sandusky, and those posters (I know who theyare) wrote in some amusement that the reactionaries here were foaming at the mouth with, "Oooh, you PSU fan. You to blame. Oooga, ooga."

I am not out of my element. You are moving the goal posts. You specifically asked for differences.

I answered specifically to your question.

If it didn't happen on campus with Sandusky why did Penn St pay out 59.7 million to victims?? I want to see it your way.

Yeah, and I showed the first difference was non-sense. Everyone knows PSU paid out because they didn't report Sandusky to police. Is this really a mystery to you?

Except for the fact that the referees give the balls to NFL employees in a zipped up bag until they're in use. You'd have to bribe the NFL emloyee to get to them. Or you can doctor it on the field in clear view. Or, the weirdest part: the refs didn't notice a problem at all with the balls until the Colts defender realized it on his interception.
So let's say hypothetically that someone had the same little screw on valve that we all used as kids to fill the ball and let some air out. Is there a rule that says you can't do that?

I sense sarcasm...

So what do you expect UConn to payout to the victims of the music teacher since they didn't report in 2003, as you stated earlier?

Sandusky used Penn State as his personal child rape playground, your trying to compare the music teacher at Uconn with the Penn State situation just shows how out of your element you are, your fandom has clearly blinded you.

What? He raped those kids in his house and at Second Mile. I mean, why even bother having this conversation if you don't know the basic facts?

The amazing thing is how you're dissembling to play down the UConn child molester.

Uh, allegations came in 1996 first and again 2003 and multiple times later. Statute of limitations in Connecticut ran out on him. In PA, they are 20 years.

Yes, there is a rule against that during the game. The teams are not supposed to touch the balls at that point.

Only the problem is that the Vikings and Titans did it this year with no repercussions. Also, Aaron Rodgers was on his radio show today saying he overinflates the ball and tries to get it past the referees. But they keep deflating the damn thing.

It would be better if you were just completely clueless like you are on the Kraft moving The Patriots to Hartford because of the huge CT. Patriots fanbase but it seems pretty clear you just want to provide cover for what went on at Penn State because you like their football team. Just letting you know it makes you look like a huge creep. Again, Sandusky used Penn State as his personal pederast playground for over 20 years because Penn State let him.

You are clueless.

1. I've always said PSU football deserved everything and more because it swept Sandusky under the rug. If there were two quibbles about what happened (and you can go back and check) it was that the school was paying out $60m to Emmert's gang of frauds.

2. The point the other twit made about no assaults on UConn's campus was wrong. As for PSU being a personal playground for Sandusky, no. He pulled his stuff at 2nd Mile, at home, and at Clinton Cty School. This is why the rapist was acquitted of the 2002 shower thing at PSU, because the victim testified in pretrial that he was not assaulted that night (but he was raped multiple times in Sandusky's basement). This is also why the prosecution didn't bring the victim to testify during the actual trial.

3. Regardless, it's totally irrelevant. PSU swept Sandusky under the rug in 2002 when they should have reported him to police. They deserved to be dinged. I have said this all along.

4. I don't know why you guys are going on and on about where the rapes take place. Makes no difference. Both schools knew a guy was raping children and did nothing. But you guys want to quibble about where the rapes took place.

You're the creep.

Uhhh he raped at least one kid in the locker room shower.

You don't know why people are going on and on about where the rapes take place? Ummm, you are the one doing that when you keep claiming Sandusky didn't do anything on campus. It's just a freaking joke, you are wrong and are somehow in your twisted way trying to minimize what Sandusky did or shall I say what took place at Penn State, and it did absolutely take place on campus. They are renovating areas of the campus where Sandusky got his jollies off for crissakes. He used his huge persona as the architect of linebacker U to start the Second Mile Foundation that annually served 100,000 kids and was bankrolled by mega corporations and even President George Bush singled them out for their amazing work. Nobody has any clue how many kids he destroyed but we do know it all could have all been stopped if Paterno and any of the other Penn State leadership had any sort of humanity. They knew he was a pederast and they just quietly let him retire hoping nobody else outside their circle would know, all the while they continued to allow him on campus, let him use the facilities even letting him keep his office. As a Penn State fan I know you know the power the football program wields throughout the whole state, even more power than the UConn music program. What happened with the music teacher was a University failure but it's not even in the same realm as what took place at Penn State.

Uhhh he raped at least one kid in the locker room shower.

You're talking about what Mike McQueary witnessed in 2002. The kid is known as victim #2.

http://espn.go.com/college-football...ions-breakdown-jerry-sandusky-verdicts-victim

Because the victim testified in pretrial that he wasn't victimized that night, the prosecution decided not to call him as a witness for trial.

Because the victim also said that Sandusky raped him on other days in his home, the defense decided not to call him as a witness.

The jury acquitted Sandusky on the count of rape, despite McQueary's testimony.

For me, it's all irrelevant. The kid was raped. I don't care where it happened. I don't know why other posters are making such a big case as to whether children are being raped on campus or not.

The key thing is that administrators were informed that a university employee or former employee was raping children, and they did nothing about it. They never reported him to police. End of story. Whether not he did it or didn't do it, whether or not he did it on campus or elsewhere, what does it matter? They should have reported him.

Wow, go on defending the totally indefensible. Go on dissembling with crazy differentiations about where the assaults took place (not to mention the accusations that the music teacher assaulted people on campus).

Good lord you are beyond hope. You were the one saying Sandusky didn't do anything on campus. Just like you did in the thread on the basketball board you post things several times and then accuse other people of posting these thoughts. It's a pretty effed up tactic on your part, you even said in one post that UConn had a child rapist football coach. It's impossible to continue this or any arguments further with you because you twist everything around to fit your bizarre rationale. For like the fifth time Sandusky molested kids on campus as myself and several others have posted. You were the person to first bring up that Sandusky didn't molest any kids on campus and you have continually repeated it. Again, you come across as a huge creep.

This is clearly a thread with no topic. Starting with Bonehead and the deflated balls up until now. Please stop!

Have at it boys...

http://espn.go.com/boston/story/_/i...-had-inflated-footballs-afc-championship-game

The New England Patriots had 11 of their 12 allotted game footballs under-inflated by 2 pounds of air (PSI) as required by NFL regulations, according to league sources either involved or familiar with the investigation of Sunday's AFC championship game when the Patriots beat the Colts 45-7 to advance to their sixth Super Bowl.

Eleven out of 12?

Jury returns a guilty verdict. That ain't an accident. Knowing the Patriots, it was probably something beautifully diabolic like pumping up the footballs in a special oven and then hoping they'd cool a hundred degrees after inspection.

But now, six more pages where we're informed how inaccurate air pumps are and how an under-inflated ball probably cost the Patriots 200 yards of offense.

why didn't the officials pick up on this when the game balls were presented?? That's what I find curious - seems like an officials failure. Either way, Colts aren't winning that game.

Back on topic, the Patriots cheat. Everyone and their mother knew the Colts had no business in the AFC title game and the Patriots would hammer them but that wasn't good enough for Belichick, he needed another advantage. There is some serious insecurity when you are cheating even when you know you should destroy the team you're playing.
