Just out of curiosity, does anyone have even the faintest interest in this fight? I'm not sure I'd watch it if it was free.

It's going to be horrible, Mayweather will easily win and their will be zero excitement.

I know how this will go on here but I will probably check for a free link somewhere, not shelling out money for a ppv on this with League Pass coming up in another month or so. Wish he would've went with Thurman but a Sept timetable wouldn't have worked so oh well.

Will watch free next weekend, but am interested. Sometimes These fights end up exciting when no one expects it to be.

I would definitely watch it for free.

I'd probably pay up to a dollar to see it.

But since it's $75, there isn't a chance I'll watch it - and unless there some sort of serious buzz about it, I'm not interested in the replay.

I'll watch most likely. I'm def not paying $75. I'd either go to a bar, casino, or split it with some friends. Could be the last fight of one of the greatest fighters of all time, and certainly of our generation. Say what you will about his style, he's never lost. He'd tie Marciano if he beats Berto.

I'm a huge boxing fan, and I have zero interest.... LSU vs Miss St will be a much better watch if you find yourself home on a Saturday night.

A week?? You should be able to watch it a few hours later, but not on TV. ;)

As for the fight, what is a Berto?

I'll never pay PPV for another one of his fights I've been suckered too many times. I might consider paying $10 to watch in a bar.

Showtime next week. Mayweather may cruise but you never know inside the ropes. He'll fight one more time against the best out there. Heck even Serena lost today go figure.

There's a better chance of the Mormons being right, than Maywether losing to Berto, don't get your hopes up..... Floyd will win quite easily, Berto is no match and Floyd never steps into the ring unprepared (ala Tyson Buster Douglas)

Not for me, even though I love boxing.

Floyd will do his usual thing and win a boring 12 round unanimous decision. It would have been more interesting to see Amir Khan fight Floyd instead of Berto.

My guess is Floyd will come out of retirement and fight again.

Floyd hand picked Berto for a reason. He's one of the only welterweights he can probably knockout. There are so many better welterweights than Berto right now.

Call me old fashioned, but if this is really going to be your last fight, picking a dude who's 3-3 over his last 6 fights, poses almost no threat whatsoever, and is not on anybody's list of the 5 guys people actually want to see you fight, is just a classic "this is about the $$ and preserving that zero" move. I don't want to venture into Hot Take City but this is just a "gimme your money and go duck yourself, fans" fight.

When he chose Berto, I figured it was because he was going to milk a Khan fight for bigger money.

Plus, I think he likes torturing Khan for some reason.

I'd like to see that fight, but if Floyd were to truly hang it up tomorrow, I don't think I'd care either way.

I don't really get the Khan hype, at this point he's more "deserving" of a shot than Berto but its not like his record is clean, his fights are now ugly as hell with all of the holding he engages in so that he can protect his chin, and his last performance against Algeri was hardly a statement performance. We all knew Mayweather was going to fight in Sept and with Ramadan that automatically ruled Khan out. Berto is obviously a weak opponent but there isn't alot out there at 147(Brook?, Bradley?) that would've got me too hype. I honestly would have rather seen Cotto or Canelo again.

I think calling it 'hype' is overstating it.

If there's an appeal to Khan, it's that he's not Berto and he's not a retread opponent.

I think he's just the best of a bad lot of options.

He is 38 years old. He deserves to fight anyone he wants as his last fight. How many fighters have been at the top like him at 38. He has beaten all the big names and again....he's 38 which is ancient for a top boxer. There always gonna be a new young lion to test himself against. He is old let him go out gracefully and stop saying he should fight this person and that person. When he keeps winning there are always gonna be those who say....well now he should fight so and so........he's old and he knows it. Some people want him to fight the next best thing......oh he's 50 but he should still fight the 25 year old young up and coming champ !

The appeal to Khan is that he brings the UK with him and is a money fight, even though he barely beat Chris Algerie. Keith Thurman would whoop Khan's ass. He's the best WW not named Floyd right now, and that's a fight people would pay for.

If this were on free TV I might check in if everything else on TV was terrible. I can't see spending money to watch him dance around all night and never get hit.

Khan should go fight Kell Brook and stop begging for Floyd, that's a fight that needs to be made that I would watch, it would do crazy numbers in the UK. Khan isn't really bringing UK fans to the US like that, he's not adored like Hatton was. I like Thurman alot but its really anybody's guess as to who is the best WW after Floyd, Thurman has been protected by Al Haymon(what else is new) and he was getting touched up by Collazo before Collazo's cut forced him to close up shop.

Kahn's past his prime, and was never a true top tier elite fighter in the welterweight division. He'd be as much a yawner as Berto will be. If MoneyMay really wanted to go out with a bang he'd step in squared circle with Thurman, Triple G, or at the very least Cotto.
