OT. Live Performances

Selena – The Last Concert: Houston, Texas (1995)

Perhaps most popularized by the 1997 biopic Selena, Tejano superstar Selena Quintanilla’s final performance before her tragic death had all the makings of a classic show. The entrance, the iconic purple jumpsuit, plenty of cover songs and sense of freedom. That’s how you dance when you feel at home.
Highlight: “Techno Cumbia”

5 years after the Lunario concert posted by BB above The Warning played their 10th anniversary show at The Pepsi Center in Mexico City.
Dust To Dust again, leading into one of their signature songs - both written when they were teenagers - Dull Knives (Cut Better).

They also played one of the largest outdoor festivals in Europe this past summer - Pol' and Rock
They had to follow one of the festival headliners and their set started at midnight. No problem, playing live is one of their superpowers.
So far, this is the only clip not under copyright available on YT.

The Warning live is an incredible experience. These three sisters from Mexico are indeed the real deal. Hard to imagine The Warning is celebrating it’s 10th year as band, with the eldest being just 24 years of age.

The late Irish guitarist Rory Gallagher, one of the best live performers ever. The guitar he is playing in this clip, his famous "Battered Strat", just sold at auction for $800,000.

Might be a bit to raw for everyone's cup of tea. But none the less quite a performance. She definitely puts everything into it.

Am I The One - Beth Hart (at the Paradiso)

Joni Mitchell doing "Coyote" - from her "Shadows and Light" tour circa 1979 or so. Love Pat Metheny on guitar:

Love Jaco Pastorius too. I wish he could’ve kept it together, died way too young.
