OT. Live Performances

Pink Floyd - One Slip
From the Delicate Sound Of Thunder tour in 1988.
I bought the VHS of this concert in back in the early 90s (still have it) and it wasn't released in a newer format until recently (2018?).

I am way, way late to discovering Rush. For whatever reason I didn't catch on as to what an amazing group they were "back then".
Working on correcting that misstep.

Back in 1969, I saw Chicago play a concert at Jorgensen Hall on Campus. Fantastic! Here they are a Tanglewood, from the same tour, with their original lineup.
Personnel: Robert Lamm - keyboards, lead vocals Terry Kath - guitar, lead vocals Peter Cetera - bass, lead vocals James Pankow - trombone, percussion Lee Loughnane - trumpet, percussio, background vocals Walter Parazaider - woodwinds, percussion, background vocals Daniel Seraphine - drums. I was just gonna do 25 or 6 to 4.

My favorite live rock video is from back in my day, Dire Straits doing Sultans of Swing, live from Alchemy. It's on Youtube but I just can't figure out how to bring it here. Sorry. Mark Knopfler is a guitar genius.

There was always this one. Maybe not the most well known guy out there, but this was on heck of a live album.

Derek and the Dominos - the last couple minutes of this song are pure beautiful guitar bliss:

I feel like I'm living this right now. Procol Harum and Renaissance were the great live albums with full orchestra of my youth. (BJ Wilson is a seriously underrated drummer.)

Best live song I've heard. The energy was enough to blow the roof of the San Diego Sports Arena. This is roughly from the same time.

Thanks. It's tucked in my playlist now. I was bustin a nut trying to make partner then. Music from then is a bit of a haze.
