In last nights Linx vs Mercury game the refs were beyond terrible and Linx HC Cheryl Reeve was ejected in the 4th quarter and was irate at the post game presser!

I don’t even like Cheryl Reeves but I’ve gotta say, I’m with her 100% on her reaction to the officiating! It is literally a disgrace! I just don’t understand why the league stands for it! Get some better Refs! Kudos to her for standing up for her players!

Kudos to Cheryl Reeves for finally being specific about the lack of quality officiating in the WNBA game. Coaches have danced around it, trying not to be fined by being general. Cheryl called out the three officials for this game as being "f---g awful", saying that these guys being semi-final material is malpractice. She already has been suspended, but someone had to really get to the point, and being the end of the year it had to be said. Congrats to her and I hope something good can come from this.

Reeve is not just another coach. 4 WNBA championships, head coach of the Olympic team, a sure hall of famer. I'm not a fan of hers, but I share her anger at what has happened to the WNBA game. Becky Hammon and Stephanie White have expressed their displeasure,also, but neither has the stature of Reeve. As the players have become so very talented , the games have become almost unwatchable at times, and it will only get worse if nothing is done. Reeve's tirade may just be the thing to get the WNBA to finally get on it, hopefully over the off season.
