The Knicks allowed the Celtics 48 2nd half points total in 2 games at MSG. The Knicks looked good...the Celtics looked bad.

While the Knicks have been pretty good I laugh at the "great "defense they suddenly play according to the mouth pieces.......the C's are OLD as hell and are plain dreadful........Garnett and Pierce should be put out to pasture and it's a good thing they let Ray take off and disrespected him!!

I think that the second half of the NBA season proved that the Knicks aren't going to be the elite defensive team that people thought they would be in that initial stretch early in the year but they have been good in this series. Boston's injuries and age has certainly contributed to that though.

I don't think the Knicks will beat the Heat but I think that if they do end up playing that they can give them a hard time over a couple of games. I just hope to see it.

Hey I would love nothing more than the Knicks shooting lights out a series with the Heat and taking them out.........I don't think they'll get enough calls to win the series though!

You have to be a Knicks fan to not see why he was suspended as he threw the 'bow with intent.........however shame on the refs for allowing Terry to slap away on Smith and piss him off w/o a call......

Terry baited him and JR took it and retaliated.

I hate the fact that that's a suspension in the NBA these days, especially in the playoffs.

But Smith has to be able to control his emotions with an 18-point lead in the 4th quarter better than he did. He deserves a suspension just for being a duck*ing idiot.

Garnett and Pierce should be put out to pasture and it's a good thing they let Ray take off and disrespected him!!
Can we cool it with the garbage about the Celtics disrespecting Ray? Sometimes two sides don't see eye to eye on something, and it makes sense for them to move on from one another.

Read this if you really think Doc/the Celtics treat their players so horribly.

Knicks fans are unbelievable , picking a post I made after game 1 where the Knicks definitely did look shakey. I hope winning two series vindicates your season. Oh yah when's the last time knicks have won a playoff series? 2001?!?!? Congrats carmelo

I'd say after the Isaiah years, winning 50 games, taking the division title for the first time in 19 years, getting out of the first round by ending the KG-Pierce era, this has been an extraordinary year. A sweep would literally be icing on the cake.

Yeah it's great. cherry picking posts and acting like a genius isn't , word to deadrody. It's clear the celtics are washed so there's no debate there. Can't really credit the Knicks for Father Time.

Whatever man, setting franchise lows in two second halves isn't just old age. It's not like the Knicks had no blocks or steals and just let Boston go to the rim at will.

Melo back to bad Melo: 10-35, 7 TO's, -10. It's telling that the Knicks made their run at the end of the 3rd quarter with him on the bench.

If the Celtics can coax him into hogging the ball the rest of the series, they have a chance.

NY played with house money. This series is over when JR comes back on Wednesday. I admired the fight by Boston tho.

The Celtics will more than likely lose in Game 5 ... but in these past two games, JR (hot headedness) and Melo (ball hoggedness) foreshadowed what will ultimately be the Knicks' undoing this postseason.

That, or running into the Heat.

I was really looking forward to getting these guys as much rest as possible. Oh well.
