The Warriors/Kings game was really background noise to me for most of the game, and then, all of the sudden, Klay Thompson hits a couple shots. And he hits another couple shots. And he hits another couple shots. Not open shots, contested, off-balance shots with the entire Kings defense locked in him. Dude just went for 37 f'in points in the third quarter and did so without missing a shot. He is not from this realm. League pass is having a free trial if you want to catch the fourth quarter.

11/15 from 3. Holy.

I'm still trying to comprehend what I just watched. When you're doing something so amazing that grown professionals are laughing uncontrollably on the bench, that speaks volumes. If anybody saw Larry Bird vs. the Hawks when the Atlanta players were high-fiving on the bench...it was just like that, except better.

52 points in 33 minutes, wow best backcourt duo in the NBA no doubt.

And nobody saw this coming. Good college player, but nobody saw this coming.

.-.
Just turned it on as something to fall asleep to and heard the announcers gushing. Guess I'll stay up and watch the replay on League pass

Klay is just trying to remind people that he is an obvious choice for an All Star reserve.

What's interesting is that Curry, Thompson, and Green all spent 3+ years in college and neither of them were top five picks. They're certainly an easy team to root for.

Donyell's three-point record of 12 in a game (shared with Kobe) is intact... but just barely.

They really are, especially now that Kerr has replaced Jackson's "chuck a 3 for jesus" gameplan with actual ball movement.

The only thing this team is missing is a UConn guy to root for. I hope Ray signs with them next month.

Curry and Thompson should make every single recruiting geek quit following stars and rankings.

13 for 13 in the qtr which included 9-9 on three's . Never seen a player so hot over a 12 minute span. Great video.

WOW, truly amazing quarter. The fun thing to watch is the trend in the crowd behind Kings bench. One guy maybe stands on his first make, a few more on his 2nd and then when it's obvious he's on a roll more and more are standing every time the balls comes out his hands. Fun stuff

Oh yeah? I once went 17-17 in a quarter in NBA Jam.

Suck it, Klay.

That game was a blast, but I hated playing against the computer and having them hit a fullcourt shot to beat me. But I guess that was part of its charm.

He should be an obvious choice to start alongside Curry.

Yes, lets use two data points out of tens of thousands to make a conclusive argument.

Curry was 5'6" his sophomore year. Despite his dad, he wasn't on anyone's radar (recruiting services, draft blogs, major D1 programs, etc.) until he hit 6'0" his senior year.

And his brother who went to Duke is where

I think I'm the only one that finds it hard to root for Golden State. Everyone seems to love them, but I find that I'm the only one actively cheering against them.

I don't really root for them, but why exactly do you actively root against em?
