OT: Karl Hobbs offered Howard HC job

There's zero chance that salary number is correct.

If you want to make $700,000 at a MEAC school, it will take you five or six years to earn it.

I'd guess $175,000-225,000 is more likely, but even that might be high.

Tim Cluess makes $565K plus at Iona. Oops, that's the MAAC. Looks like 289K at NCC is tops in the MEAC.

I had the biggest question mark over my head. I was about to ask "how is he getting paid that?" Not sure he should take that job. It has been hard job to be successful.

He's probably making more money as the top assistant at Rutgers than whatever Howard is offering.

If he makes $300,000 a year at a Rutgers and seems to have picked up their recruiting, working with for a long time friend. Why would he take the Howard job for more headaches and less money?
I believe Ewing is also trying to get him at Georgetown, which makes a bit more sense
because his family lives in DC and he is familiar with that area.
Unless Howard is planning an upgrade.

With Mike Jarvis as their coach IIRC.

And if I recall, there was some kind of a recruiting scandal about J̶̷̲̅ᴀ̶̷̲̅ʀ̶̷̲̅ᴠ̶̷̲̅ɪ̶̷̲̅s̶̷̲̅ Satan stealing Karl from some other school.
