And she's not from the basketball, field hockey or even soccer teams. Congrats, Heather Wilson!

[Heather] Wilson tallied an impressive five All-American titles as a Husky, four indoor accolades and one outdoor. Wilson, an Exercise Science major, reached the podium twice at the 2012 BIG EAST Indoor Championships with a silver medal in the mile and third as a member of the DMR. Wilson was dominant at her final indoor NCAA Championship grabbing two First Team All-America honors in the 800 and the DMR. During her senior outdoor season she won the gold in the 800m at the 2012 BIG EAST Outdoor Championships, placed first in the 1,500m run at the ECAC Championships and notched her first outdoor All-America honor with an 11th place finish in the 800m for a Second Team spot.

DMR = Distance Medley Relay

say whaaaa?
Exercise Science is major in UConn's Dept. of Kinesiology. UConn has the country's #1 ranked graduate program in kinesiology.

On a side note: I believe the Korey Stringer Institute is related to this program. Stringer was a football player that died tragically of heat stroke. The Institute does research to combat these sad (and unnecessary) deaths. Korey Stringer was C. Vivian Stringer's nephew.
