OT: Holy Hail, Batman!

It came, it stormed and now we have a perfectly lovely day, one that's 15 degrees cooler than before the storm.

We just got home to SE CT from Winnepesaukee where it was 96*. On the way home we passed through a storm just south of Worcester. The outside temp dropped from 90* to 69* in about 30 minutes. By the time we got home it was back to 84*.

It was 104 on Friday in D.C. Only 99 today.

But the storm did a lot of tree damage, and about a million folks lost power. Some won't get it back for days.
