It could be UConn, UMass, BC, and BU fighting it out in St. Louis.Btw 4 out of 8 teams left are Hockey East teams.
How did 2 CT teams and Maine end up in PA with Penn State? Is it a P2 thing?
Playoff hockey is the most intense team sport, imo. For me, it's the most tense.
The most intense thing in sports is an overtime playoff hockey game.
Merrimack was a members of Hockey East since 1989. They have played high level hockey for decades while QU was D3.The best thing about that conference is ND finished last this year at 4-19-1.
Just curious because I don't follow closely enough. Quinnipiac is in the ECAC and Merrimack in Hockey East. Was Quinnipiac considered for Hockey East? Merrimack seems out of place.

There has been talk that QU has been approached about becoming the 12th member of Hockey East, but I don’t know if that is true. Supposedly they prefer the ECAC as an easier path to the tournament. Again, rumor, not fact.
I’m good with 3/4 of those teams making itIt could be UConn, UMass, BC, and BU fighting it out in St. Louis.

UMass kind of got hosed on a really weak major call that flipped the game. But they got away with one in the prior game, so I guess it all evens out.Down one, unfortunately.
UMass lost to Western Mich. UConn and BC on deck tomorrow,
I understand the Penn State sentiment. I have an annoying in-law who graduated from Penn State.UConn vs Penn St today at 4:30.
Several members of my extended family attended Penn St, so I have mixed feelings about this game.
I want UConn to win because it would be great for the school and the team. But I also want Penn St to lose so I can rub it in my families faces for the next year.
LOL. I’m not sure you know what “mixed feelings” means, but good thoughts nonetheless.UConn vs Penn St today at 4:30.
